Ashton runs Ace of Hardwoods and works on floors across Seattle and the Eastside. He learned the trade from his father and carries on the family business.

Three generations in the trade
Ashton's grandfather started working on hardwood floors in Seattle in 1956. His father joined the business in 1985. Ashton began working alongside his father in 2011, learning to assess worn floors, prepare the wood, and apply finishes.
Today, Ashton handles refinishing, installations, and repairs for homeowners across the Seattle area. He discusses the condition of your floor and the options before quoting the work. You can ask the person doing the job about materials, scheduling, or a detail you want to change.
Know who is working in your home
We agree on the scope and preparation before starting. That includes access to the rooms, furniture removal, and the time you will need to keep off the floor. During the work, Ashton keeps you informed about progress and any repairs that need your attention.
At the final walkthrough, we review the floor with you and explain how to care for the finish.
