01Can my existing floor be refinished, or does it need repair or replacement?
That depends on the wood, its remaining thickness, and the depth of the damage. Ashton inspects worn and damaged areas before recommending sanding, localized repairs, or replacement.
02Can you extend hardwood into another room and match it?
Often, the first step is comparing the existing species, board width, grade, color, and sheen with available material. Natural aging and discontinued products can create visible differences, so Ashton discusses the likely match before you approve the work.
03What affects the quote?
The floor area and condition, repairs, material choice, subfloor preparation, layout, stain and finish, stairs or transitions, and access to the work area can all affect the scope. An assessment turns those details into a specific quote.
04Who handles furniture and room preparation?
Clear access is needed before work starts. During the estimate, Ashton reviews what must leave the rooms, what needs protection, and who will handle each preparation task so it is included in the plan.
05Can we stay in the home, and when can we use the floor again?
It depends on the rooms involved, access, noise, and the finish system selected. Ashton explains the work schedule separately from the instructions for foot traffic, furniture, and rugs as the finish cures.
06How do dust containment and cleanup work?
For sanding work, Ace uses dust-containment equipment and protects adjacent surfaces as planned for the job. Some dust is still possible. Ashton reviews access, containment, and cleanup expectations before work begins.
